MBHA
The Masters of the basset Hounds Association was founded in 1911 when it was decided to develop the basset as a hunting animal, as there was concern that the show basset was not sound enough to hunt.
It is the governing body of hare hunting packs. It has ten member packs in England and Wales with one in the United States and one in Spain, with a membership of around 100 masters, former masters and associates.
AMHB
The Association of Harriers and Beagles was founded on 24 March 1891. The association is the governing body of hare hunting of hare hunting packs and beagle packs in Britain. The association oversees the promotion and proper management of hare hunting.

ISAH
The Independent Supervisory Authority for Hunting was formed after consideration of the Phelps review of hunting with hounds published in 1997, which recommended an independent authority to oversee the activities of its member association. None of the commissioners has any connection with any hunting organisation whether pro hunting or anti hunting groups.
* The authority has reviewed codes of conduct submitted by member organisations .
* Makes kennel and field visits to enhance awareness and knowledge of activities of members.
* Considers reports, subject to investigation by disciplinary committees and made recommendations and approved follow up action.
* Reviewed hunt monitoring procedures and made recommendations.

FWAG
The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group Exists to provide farmers and landowners an opportunity for environmental gain through cost effective and quality solution. It provides practical advice on making adjustments to farm operations in order to support wildlife, landscape, archaeological and other conservation issues. FWAG has 66 local groups throughout England and Wales.
It arranges events throughout the year such as farm visits, workshops and competitions on various farms and sites.
It has provided on farm advice to manage farmland to benefit the brown hare.
It has endorsed the superb leaflet produced by the AMHB.
